Hello, hello! I know it has been a long time. I haven’t posted in over a month! My life has been turned upside down as of late. We are having a baby! HE is due this fall. While it was planned, it wasn’t expected so quickly, for which I was grateful given the difficulties experienced by so many others, but also floored! We planned all along to move before we had a baby, so that’s where my brain immediately went with the positive pregnancy test… hey we gotta move!

The past two months have been a whirlwind of packing, preparing the house for market, and selling the house, coupled with pregnancy fatigue, stress, and worry. I can happily say that things are looking great right now though. The baby is healthy so far, my pregnancy has been complication-free, and we have sold our house. I’m feeling very grateful for my many blessings in this sweet season of life. I only hope we can find a new house soon in this crazy market of historically low housing inventory. I anxiously watch my phone all day for alerts of new house listings. As a type-A control freak with no patience, it’s difficult to just “sit on my hands” and wait for something to happen. Right now though I don’t have much of a choice.

Anyway, that’s why I’ve been so quiet. I have a lot to catch up on here now though, even though I haven’t had much time for thrifting or crafts. Hopefully I can spend this time waiting on a house to do some of those favorite things of mine.

We are all looking forward to the exciting possibilities this blessing will bring to our lives and I’m thankful and grateful to have the love and support of my family and friends.
